Whatsapp Now Becomes End-To-End Encrypted Service

Whatsapp has more than 1 billion users and Whatsapp is the second biggest communication platform after its owner Facebook in the world.

If this kind of big platform make a change in its massaging, talk or video service it affects the whole lot of people.

Whatsapp announced it on Tuesday that it will be now providing the end-to-end encryption for its services.

If you do not know that it was working on the end-to-end encryption chat system from November 2014,

But now every type of whatsapp communication will be encrypted locally by the sender and decoded by the receiver,

Whatsapp itself won’t have the keys to decode any of the users data from their network.

Sometimes it can create problems, law enforcement agencies they need some criminals data.

Whatsapp end-to-end encryption will create any problem for law enforcement agencies?

In Brazil some time ago authorities arrested the Facebook Inc. executive when the company said that they were unable to decode the a user’s encrypted messages.

That happened because of the end-to-end encryption system,

Basically it automatically encodes the message with an algorithm that can only be unlocked by sender and receiver.

WhatsApp founders Jan Koum and Brian Acton wrote on Tuesday:

Recently there has been a lot of discussion about encrypted services and the work of law enforcement. While we recognize the important work of law enforcement in keeping people safe, efforts to weaken encryption risk exposing people’s information to abuse from cybercriminals, hackers, and rogue states.
While WhatsApp is among the few communication platforms to build full end-to-end encryption that is on by default for everything you do, we expect that it will ultimately represent the future of personal communication.

Some of other communication services use end-to-end encryption like Signal, Wickr and the Telegram and the others are not using this system now.

Google, Facebook and Yahoo they are using less extensive encryption,

So they can unlock the encrypted messages when the court order them if they need some criminal information or something like that.

IF you do not know Apple Also Uses the End-To-End Encryption system for there imessages service.

Some experts are saying that the Whatsapp end-to-end encryption system is may be better than Apple,

Because of Whatsapp provides a security code which will be verified by the senders and recipients,

So it can be not from a hackers posing as a friend and Whatsapp encryption system technology is from Open Whisper Systems, it is a San Francisco group that has developed its software.
